1 Welcome to CCPT 2006!

1.1 CCPT
CUIP's "Creating Classroom Projects Using Technology" gives CPS teachers an opportunity to interact with new technologies and (with the help of CUIP staffers) to determine how these technologies can be a help in the classroom. Working together we can create teaching materials and project examples or templates that can be used immediately in the classroom.
We believe that with a positive attitude, a collaborative environment, and ample instruction and support (and just a little bit of time) that we can apply new technologies to great effect in the classroom.
1.2 CCPT 2006
In 2006, we will be focusing on blogging and podcasting, while also covering powerpoint, digital photography, digital video, wikis, and new web-resources. Materials on all these topics can be found on this website: http://techwiki.cuip.net/
Logistics: This summer CCPT will run from July 10 - 28 (with July 19 as an off-day for participants). There will be a morning section that will meet from 9:00a - 12:30p at Ray Elementary School, and an afternoon section that will meet from 12:30 - 4:00 at Murray Language Academy.
